The main local street markets are held in Sesto Calende (5 minutes) on Wednesday, in Arona (10 minutes) on Tuesday and Borgomanero (15 minutes) on Friday.A short distance from Castelletto are the Lake of Varese (about 30 minutes), Lake Comabbio (about 15 minutes) and Lake Monate (about 15 minutes) to reach by car or by a splendid walk path that runs the circumference of the three lakes with a view of the mountains (approximately 70 km of track). On the lakes there are many beaches (with charge) and free beaches. (About 10 minutes).
